Calling Worcestershire’s Community Groups – invitation to this event to explore the county’s Local Nature Recovery Strategy

Come join us at The Guildhall Worcester for an exciting event discussing the Local Nature Recovery Strategy and how community groups can get involved! Open to anyone involved in local community groups across Worcestershire with a focus on the environment and/or access to nature, such as ‘friends of’ groups, residents’ associations and community trusts.

Local Nature Recovery Strategies (LNRS) are new spatial strategies for nature and environmental improvement for the whole of England, with the aim of improving habitats, recovering species, and increasing access to nature for all. The Worcestershire LNRS is currently in preparation and we want your involvement to help shape its priorities.

This 2-hour event will delve into what a LNRS is and why we need one, how it can benefit residents and local community groups and provide an opportunity for you to have your say on nature recovery in your area.
