Overview of the post
The College of Health and Sciences, University of Worcester, is seeking a research associate to support an exciting new research project to work with academics and key stakeholders from the Herefordshire and Worcestershire Integrated Care System. The project seeks to develop a Citizenship Model approach to understand research engagement amongst those considered to be under-served and seldom heard by researchers.
This place-based research project will be located initially within Herefordshire, but there may be opportunities to extend the work further across the region. The post-holder will work closely with the project team and identified stakeholders to finalise the project plans. They will then play a vital role in supporting project delivery. Given the coproduced nature of this research, and the primary importance of engagement with Herefordshire residents, we are looking for someone who brings experience of conducting project work with members of the public, patients, carers, or family members.
There will be a range of researcher development available to the successful post holder, who will work under the supervision of two project leads.
From 1 August 2023, the salary range for this role will increase to £29,605 – £36,023, with the opportunity to progress to £39,348.
