We would like to inform you of an important change in our leadership team. Roger Britton, Chair of Worcestershire VCSE Alliance, has stepped down from his position due to personal reasons.
Since the launch of the Alliance in July 2022 and even prior to that, Roger has played a pivotal role in shaping our vision and leading us into this exciting new phase for the Voluntary, Community, and Social Enterprise sector in Worcestershire. His dedication, strategic guidance, and tireless efforts have been invaluable in establishing a solid foundation for our collective work. On behalf of the entire Alliance, we express our heartfelt appreciation to Roger for his immeasurable contributions.
In light of this transition, we are pleased to announce that Pete Sugg, CEO of Young Solutions, will be stepping into the role of Chair. Pete has been serving as the Vice-Chair of the Alliance and brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the position. We are confident that under his leadership, we will continue to thrive and make a positive impact on the VCSE sector in Worcestershire.
As we move forward with this change, we remain committed to our shared mission of supporting and empowering the VCSE sector. We will work together with Pete and the rest of the executive team to ensure a smooth transition and maintain the momentum we have gained under Roger’s leadership.
