Sensory Matters – free information service from Sight Concern and BSL explainer video

Worcestershire County Council has a free information service from Sight Concern called Sensory Matters.

Sensory Matters service launched in October 2023 providing information, advice and guidance to anyone in Worcestershire who is blind, vision impaired, Deaf, hard of hearing, have dual sensory loss or is deafblind.

A team of Sensory Impairment Advisors is available to offer information and advice, signpost or make referrals to specialists and other services that can offer additional support.

Our Sensory Impairment Advisors understand the challenges that people with sight and hearing loss face and will provide you with the information you need to maintain independent and fulfilling lives.  

The service offers specialist information and advice to people with sensory impairments like those who are D/deaf, blind or visually impaired.

The service helps residents with issues like debt, housing, benefits, accessing care and support and helps them live more independently.
