>Your role and responsibilities are important
>You and your personal wellbeing is important
Making time to step back, slow down and off-load with peers; things that were described as vital to maintaining personal wellbeing when we met for the first time as a Community Wellbeing Role Network back in April. In July we held the first Monthly Check-In for people working in community wellbeing roles. It was a small, relaxed online meeting made up of Social Prescribers, Lifestyle Advisors, Community Builders and others. There was positive feedback from the group –
‘Really found this useful. Nice to talk about our wellbeing’.
‘Even hearing others are in the same situation is helpful.’
‘Would really love to join in this meeting again, I found it so helpful last time, the whole chat gave me a lot to think about, I have made a few changes to my…let’s say ‘working lifestyle’
If the opportunity to chat with peers about what’s going on for you would be helpful, please join us for the next Check-In on 19th September 12.30-1.30 (feel free to bring your lunch!).
Just email Kay (kay@worcsalliance.org) to receive the meeting link.
The informal chat will be a video call on MS Teams. The session will not be recorded. Given the likely personalised content of discussion, we assume mutual respect and confidentiality amongst those attending. Carole Cumino** who facilitated the initial workshop has volunteered to host the check-in sessions. You can find out more about Carole here.
Please do share this opportunity with your colleagues in Community Wellbeing Roles, for example (but not limited to) Lifestyle Advisors, Social Prescribers, Community Health Connectors, Mental Health Link Workers.
*Community Wellbeing Role Quarterly Get-Together date will be announced soon*
