We are very pleased to announce the launch of the VCSE Alliance’s Understanding and Strengthening the VCSE Sector in Worcestershire survey. This is a vital piece of work for the VCSE Sector, funded by Worcestershire County Council. It will lead to the creation of a wealth of information about the 2,717 organisations that make up the Worcestershire VCSE and importantly the status of the sector as a whole.
We encourage all VCSE organisations, whether large or small charities, social enterprises or community groups operating in Worcestershire to take part in this survey. As a thank you for your time in completing the survey, you will have the option to enter into a prize draw to win a One4all gift card for your organisation:

What is the Worcestershire VCSE Alliance?
The Alliance was formed in July 2022, to support the inclusion of the VCSE Sector into the new Integrated Care System (ICS). The Alliance vision is “Working together to help make Worcestershire a better and healthier place to live and work”. Having a strong and visible VCSE sector working collaboratively together will help in the delivery of excellent services that are aligned to the needs of Worcestershire people.
To support the development of a stronger VCSE sector in Worcestershire, the research results will be used to:
- Develop a more detailed picture of the services delivered by the VCSE Sector in Worcestershire
- Identify the current strengths, challenges, opportunities and areas for development for the VCSE Sector in the county
- Develop a better understanding of the gaps in services to inform future priorities
This is why we are asking you to take the time to complete this survey. All the information from the survey will be collated and a comprehensive report that will be published for you to use.
The Alliance has already published some initial scoping of the Worcestershire VCSE Sector which can be found here: (Alliance Projects – Worcestershire VCSE Alliance (worcsalliance.org)). There will be a further stage to this work where we will carry out focus groups and 1:1 interviews to gain a deeper understanding of opportunities and challenges.
