The flexible, motivational and reliable post holder of this exciting role in Worcestershire, will lead a team of Telephone Triage Practitioners who work in partnership with the Crisis Resolution Team at Worcester Royal Hospital.
Team Leaders provide support to practitioners across service delivery hours on a rota basis, overseeing their work and providing direct line management. The Triage Team use the UK Mental Health Triage Scale (UKMHTS), to determine whether a caller has a mental health related problem, the urgency of the situation and the most appropriate service response. The service is delivered 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days of the year. Team Leaders work on a rota covering both the day and night shifts. Two 12.5 hour shifts will be worked on the triage line providing helpline support and two 6 hour shifts will be worked at the unit overseeing the day to day running of the service.
Additional shifts will be required to cover staff absence, ensuring continuous service delivery.
