We just wanted to say a big thank you to everyone who came to the Forum on 22nd May, for those of you who couldn’t make it… we missed you! But we don’t want you to miss out so here are the slides from the event. We had a great session meeting our new Chair, Sarah Dugan, finding out more about the work the Alliance are doing with our colleagues in Community Power and working through the findings from the Understanding and Strengthening the Sector research.
This research has been undertaken by yourselves and our colleagues at Worcester University and has provided some important and valuable insight. We are going to be looking at how we turn this into actions and will be keeping you updated on progress.
We also welcomed partners across different sectors, learnt more about the Connect to Work programme and had a demonstration of the new Community Services Directory. We are planning to hold the next Forum in September so will be in contact over the summer with further details.
