Wednesday 18th September from 12.00-1.00pm on Teams.
Sarah Speck, Director of Worcestershire Place Development, will be delivering this briefing on the Worcestershire Place Plan, and the opportunities for the VCSE sector to coproduce work within the Integrated Care System.
It has been over two years since the launch of Integrated Care System (ICS) across the country, in which all partners involved in the health and social care of citizens work together to improve health outcomes.
The Herefordshire and Worcestershire ICS brings together partners from health and social care, primary and secondary care and physical and mental health, including VCSE organisations to work together to meet the four core purposes of ICSs, led by the Integrated Care Board (ICB):
- To improve outcomes in population health and healthcare
- To tackle inequalities in outcomes, experience and access
- To enhance productivity and value for money
- To help the NHS support broader social and economic development
Sarah plays a key role in supporting the delivery of the overall aims of the Integrated Care System across Worcestershire. This one hour briefing will give organisations the opportunity to understand how they may benefit from the portfolio of work across Place (Worcestershire).
